Subscriptions & Rehearsals


All choirs rehearse on Sunday afternoons at Highgate Primary School. Members come from all over London and surrounding areas.

Subscription 2017 / 2018

Training Choir £230/year - £90/term
Senior Choir £270/year - £100/term
Senior + Youth £290/year - £110/term
Youth + Barbers £210/year - £80/term

Senior Choir - Age 11 - 18

The Senior Choir is an upper voice choir and is the principal performing choir, giving concerts with the UK's top orchestras and in major venues all over the UK and abroad. The choir also records for film and TV and participates in Pop Concerts both live and for Television. They also often record on the Radio.

Entry is by audition: Children should be able to read music.

Training Choir - Age 7+

The Training choir is for younger girls and boys who enjoy singing. There is no audition.

Children are introduced to the basic techniques of singing, and are trained in sight-reading and singing in parts.

The choir performs once a term at its own concert, where children have the opportunity
to sing to parents and friends.

Youth Choir - Age 14 - 21

The Youth choir is an SATB choir offering older girls (14 years and upwards) from the Senior Choir and boys whose voices have changed an opportunity to sing and perform sacred and secular music composed over the last eight centuries.

All members of Youth Choir also sing in either Senior Choir or Barbers.

The choir rehearses from 5.15 - 6pm and new members are welcome.
